Repository Policy

Literary Voice encourages authors to share their published work widely to maximize its visibility, impact, and accessibility. Authors are permitted to deposit their post-publication manuscripts in institutional repositories, personal websites, and other open-access platforms. This policy supports the global exchange of knowledge and ensures that research reaches a broader audience.

Permitted Versions for Repository Deposit

  1. Publisher’s Final Formatted PDF Version:

   - Authors may deposit the final published version (the publisher’s formatted PDF) in repositories or on personal websites immediately after publication, without any embargo period. 

  1. Accepted Version (Postprint):

   - Authors may also deposit the accepted version (the peer-reviewed but unedited manuscript) in repositories or on personal websites. 

Recommended Repositories

Authors are encouraged to use the following platforms for depositing their work: 

- Institutional Repositories: Deposit in your institution’s repository to enhance local visibility. 

- Zenodo: A multidisciplinary open-access repository supported by CERN. 

- Google Scholar: Upload your work to your Google Scholar profile for greater discoverability. 

- OASIS: An open-access platform for sharing scholarly work. 

- Personal Websites: Share your work on your personal or professional website. 

Benefits of Repository Deposit

- Increased Visibility: Depositing your work in repositories ensures it reaches a wider audience, including researchers, educators, and practitioners. 

- Greater Impact: Open access to your work can lead to higher citation rates and greater academic influence. 

- Compliance with Funders: Many funding agencies require open-access deposition of research outputs. 

Acknowledgement Requirement

When depositing your work, please include the following acknowledgment to ensure proper attribution: 

 “This is the [accepted/published] version of the article: [FULL CITATION: Article title, author(s), journal name, volume, issue, year, DOI/link to the article, link to the journal https://literaryvoiceglobal.in], which has been published in its final form at [link to the final article].”

Terms and Conditions

- Non-Commercial Use: Repository deposits must comply with the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). 

- Proper Attribution: Ensure that the journal, publisher, and author(s) are properly credited. 

- Commercial Use: For commercial reuse or reprinting, permission must be obtained from the publisher.
