Review Policy

Peer Review Process

Literary Voice is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and quality. To ensure fairness, objectivity, and rigor, the journal employs a double-blind peer review process. This process safeguards the anonymity of both authors and reviewers, fostering unbiased and constructive evaluations of submitted work.

Overview of the Process

  1. Submission: Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal’s submission system or via email to [email protected]
  2. Initial Screening: The editorial team conducts an initial assessment to ensure the submission aligns with the journal’s scope and adheres to formatting and ethical guidelines.
  3. Double-Blind Review:
    The identities of both the author(s) and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process.
    Each manuscript is assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
  4. Review Timeline:
    Reviewers are expected to submit their evaluations, including recommendations for approval, revision, or rejection, within three weeks of receiving the manuscript.
  5. Decision Communication:
    Based on the reviewers’ feedback, the editorial team communicates the decision to the author(s).
    If revisions are required, authors are given a two-week timeframe to address the reviewers’ comments and resubmit the revised manuscript.
  6. Final Decision:
    The revised manuscript is re-evaluated to ensure all concerns have been addressed.
    A final decision on publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief.

    Reviewer Responsibilities:
    Reviewers are expected to:
    a) provide constructive feedback to help improve the quality of the manuscript;
    evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field;
    b) maintain confidentiality and avoid using any information from the manuscript for personal gain,
    c) disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect their ability to provide an impartial review.

    Author Responsibilities:
    Authors must
    a) respond to reviewers’ comments in a timely and professional manner;
    b) ensure that all revisions are clearly highlighted and explained in the resubmitted manuscript.
    c) adhere to the journal’s ethical guidelines and formatting requirements.

    Outcomes of the Review Process

Acceptance: The manuscript is accepted for publication without further revisions.
Minor Revisions: The manuscript requires minor changes before final acceptance.
Major Revisions: The manuscript requires significant changes and will undergo a second round of review.
Rejection: The manuscript does not meet the journal’s standards or scope.
